Biography

Dorothy Dwight Power Hutchison, who wrote and painted under the name Dwight Hutchison, died Saturday, February 22, 1975 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 85 years old and lived in Westport, Conn.
Mrs. Hutchison was a graduate of Smith College. After being with the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency in NYC, she turned to writing short stories, magazine articles and books, among them “Free for Three Months Only” and “That Summer by the Sea.” Later she took up painting, depicting village life in Mexico.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. Dudley Head and Mrs. Oliver Allen, and nine grandchildren.
